User Agreement for CareerSafi.com

This User Agreement (“Agreement”) outlines the terms and conditions governing your use of CareerSafi.com (“CareerSafi,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and its services, including our website, mobile applications, and any other features, tools, or content offered from time to time (collectively, the “Platform”). This Agreement constitutes a legally binding contract between you (“you,” “your,” or “User”) and CareerSafi.
By accessing or using the Platform, registering for an account, or clicking to accept this Agreement, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this Agreement and our associated policies, including our Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and other legal documents referenced herein.
If you do not agree to this Agreement or do not understand any portion of it, you must not access or use the Platform.
1. User Accounts
1.1 Registration
To use certain features of the Platform, you must create an account (“Account”). You agree to provide truthful, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to maintain its accuracy.
1.2 Eligibility
You represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old or of legal age in your jurisdiction, and that you are using the Platform for business or professional purposes. If you are registering on behalf of a company or legal entity, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity.
1.3 Account Types
CareerSafi offers different types of accounts including:
- Job Seeker Account: for users seeking employment or freelance opportunities.
- Employer Account: for companies or individuals posting job opportunities.
- Freelancer Account: for individuals offering services to potential clients.
You may only register one Account unless otherwise authorized by CareerSafi. Sharing login credentials is strictly prohibited.
1.4 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your Account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or use of your Account.
1.5 Verification
We reserve the right to verify your identity and business affiliations at any time. You agree to provide requested information or documents as part of our verification procedures.
2. Nature of the Platform
CareerSafi serves as an online marketplace connecting freelancers, job seekers, and employers. CareerSafi does not provide employment or freelancer services directly. Users are solely responsible for their interactions, agreements, and transactions with each other.
CareerSafi is not a party to any employment or service contract between users. We do not control, monitor, or guarantee the quality, legality, or accuracy of user-generated content, job postings, applications, or services offered.
3. User Responsibilities
3.1 Legal Compliance
Users agree to comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations in connection with their use of the Platform.
3.2 Accurate Information
Users must provide truthful, complete, and updated information in their profiles, job posts, applications, and communications on the Platform.
3.3 Taxes and Benefits
Freelancers and employers are solely responsible for handling their own tax reporting and liabilities. CareerSafi does not provide tax advice or file taxes on behalf of any user.
3.4 Content
Users are responsible for all content they publish on the Platform, including job postings, proposals, profiles, and reviews. Users agree not to post false, misleading, defamatory, or unlawful content.
4. Payments and Fees
4.1 Fees
CareerSafi may charge service fees to freelancers and/or employers for use of specific features. Fees will be disclosed prior to use and may be updated from time to time. Users agree to pay all applicable fees in a timely manner.
4.2 Payment Processing
Payments made on the Platform may be processed via third-party payment gateways. By using our services, you agree to the terms and conditions of these third-party providers.
4.3 No Guarantees
CareerSafi does not guarantee payment from clients to freelancers or job offers from employers to job seekers. Users should conduct their own due diligence before entering into any engagement.
5. Disputes Between Users
CareerSafi is not responsible for resolving disputes between users. Users are encouraged to resolve disputes directly and may seek legal counsel if necessary. CareerSafi may, at its sole discretion, assist in dispute resolution but is under no obligation to do so.
6. Termination
6.1 By User
You may close your Account at any time by contacting us or through your account settings.
6.2 By CareerSafi
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that violates this Agreement, our policies, or applicable law.
7. Intellectual Property
All content and materials on the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, are the property of CareerSafi or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Users retain ownership of their submitted content but grant CareerSafi a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, distribute, and display such content on the Platform.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CareerSafi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.
9. Disclaimers
The Platform and services are provided “as is” and “as available.” CareerSafi disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CareerSafi, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including legal fees, arising from your use of the Platform or violation of this Agreement.
11. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Insert Country/State], without regard to conflict of law principles.
12. Modifications
We may modify this Agreement at any time by posting the updated version on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Agreement.
