Your CareerSafi profile is what employers and recruiters see first — so it’s important to keep it accurate, up to date, and professional. Whether you’re adding new skills, updating your CV, or correcting your contact info, here’s how to do it.
🔁 Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Log In to Your Account
- Go to www.careersafi.com
- Click “Login” in the top-right corner
- Enter your email and password to access your dashboard
2. Open Your Dashboard
- Once logged in, click on your profile icon or name at the top right
- Select “Dashboard” from the dropdown menu
3. Go to ‘My Profile’ or ‘Edit Profile’
- Inside your dashboard, look for a tab or menu option labeled “My Profile” or “Edit Profile”
- Click it to open your editable profile view
4. Update Your Personal Details
Here you can edit:
- Full Name
- Profile Picture (Upload a professional photo)
- Phone Number
- Location or preferred work region
Just click the edit icon ✏️ next to each section, make your changes, and hit “Save”
5. Edit Your Professional Information
Update your:
- Job title or headline (e.g., Graphic Designer | SEO Writer | Software Developer)
- Work experience
- Skills and tools you’re proficient in
- Education and certifications
- Languages
📌 Be specific. The more relevant info you include, the better your chances of showing up in search results.
6. Upload or Replace Your CV
- Scroll to the CV Upload section
- Click “Upload File” and select your latest resume (PDF or DOCX)
- Save changes once the upload is complete
💡 Always replace outdated CVs — keep only your most recent version.
7. Save Your Changes
- Once you’ve updated all necessary fields, click “Save Profile” or “Update” at the bottom of the page
✅ You’ll see a confirmation message when your updates are saved successfully
🔒 Can’t Edit Certain Info?
Some fields like your email may be locked after registration. If you need to update something that can’t be edited directly:
- Contact support via the Contact Page
- Or email support@careersafi.com with your request

1. Log In to Your CareerSafi Account
- Head to www.careersafi.com
- Click the “Login” button in the top-right corner
- Enter your email and password, then click Submit
2. Go to Your Dashboard
- Once logged in, click on your profile icon or name in the top-right menu
- Select “Dashboard” from the dropdown options
3. Open the Settings Panel
- Inside your dashboard, find the “Settings” tab — usually in the side menu
- Click it to access your account preferences
🔔 Managing Notification Preferences
You’ll see a section labeled Notifications or Email Alerts. Here, you can control:
- ✅ Job Alerts — Get notified about new job matches
- ✅ Messages from Employers — Be alerted when you receive a new message
- ✅ Application Status Updates — Stay informed when your job applications are viewed, shortlisted, or declined
- ✅ CareerSafi Updates — Control whether you receive newsletters, platform announcements, or tips
To turn a setting on or off, simply toggle the switch next to each item.
💡 Tip: Don’t want email clutter? You can opt for in-platform only notifications.
🛡️ Managing Privacy Settings
Scroll to the section labeled Privacy or Visibility Settings. Here you can:
- 👁️🗨️ Control Profile Visibility
- Set your profile to:
- Public (visible to anyone including employers)
- Only Employers
- Private (visible only to you)
- Set your profile to:
- 📄 Hide/Show Your Resume
- Toggle whether your uploaded CV is searchable or hidden
- 🧾 Manage Application History Visibility
- Decide whether employers can see which roles you’ve applied for on their jobs
4. Save Your Changes
- After adjusting your preferences, don’t forget to click “Save Settings” or “Update Preferences”
- A confirmation message will appear once changes are successfully saved
